I thought I would give

you some history on the picture

I have picked.  I know

she is not the most beautiful woman in

the world.

In fact in our family

we consider her a little bit hmm

(odd)

This is my Great Auntie Mi

As A child my father

could not say her name.

Blanch

so he gave her the name

that truly stuck with her

her whole life.

Auntie Mi

She was an amazing woman..

In fact her whole family

was

and as time goes on I will

be posting pictures of

them.

Auntie Mi wanted to be

an actress.

And her love for the

dramatic is in all the

photo's we have of her.

This photo was made into a post card

when I was young and sold

all over the country

by a local company.

Free Vintage Clip Art To My Valentine Greeting Card And PNG Image From Leaping Frog Designs

Last year at an estate sale

I found a whole box full of

Valentine's and Anniversary

cards

from a husband to his wife.

Decades of them.

It was so sweet how she

had kept every one with

love in a special box.

As the years went by..

his hand started strong

and in the end..his daughters signed

his cards to his wife for him

because his hand so trembled

I thought it was so very much

what true love is all about.

From beginning to the end with

each other.

I hope you enjoy them

as much as I have.

image it did not register

just how packed these

little one's are in

their nest.

Wow.

I had to try my hand at coloring

just to give it a little variety.

With the heart moved off the

original post card nice

white background.

Free Image Friday Lovely Lady From Deliniator Magazine 1800's

Last fall I was being silly

and bought a huge box of

loose paper sheets from

a lovely seller on eBay.

I have always wanted a

Delinator

but boy howdy they are

expensive.

So anyway...

This lot was 5 pounds

of loose pages from

Godey, Peterson, Delinator

Inspiration Magazine...

All sorts of fantastic stuff

I only ended up with about 9

Delinator single sheets but they

 are

divine.

This lovely lady is one of them.

Love those mutton

sleeves.
