Lady Churchill Page Challenge from Green Paper

Last Friday Jill told me about a challenge on Green Papers blog site.....She gave us three elements..and here is my result....It was a lot of fun to work on a project that had a short time to complete.  I learned quite a bit...and think there are a few things I would do diffently.  I started out with her three pieces.  A photo of Lady Churchill.  A bird trading card...and a Merchants National Bank check.  The orange background paper was created by my friend Jill.  A piece of antique hand made lace...old map...German gold foil tidbits...The compass in the upper corner seems off place to me..too stark and should be moved down near her shoulder....So that is it.  Not sure if I will enter it in Green Papers contest with it.  But I have learned so much from doing it.
